1) Are you currently in a serious relationship?
A. No.
2) What was your dream growing up?
A. I always wanted to be a musician of some sort. I think I wanted to be a singer/songwriter at the time. Now I'm down to songwriter.
3) What talent do you wish you had?
A. Some kind of craftsy thing, or perhaps just straight-out PATIENCE for craftsy things. Like art. Or textiles (besides sewing, which I enjoy).
4) If I bought you a drink what would it be?
A. Water. Or a nice cabernet or pinot noir or sangiovese. Not merlot.
5) Favorite vegetable?
A. Sweet potato.
6) What was the last book you read?
A. The Ninja and Their Secret Fighting Art by Stephen Hayes.
7) What zodiac sign are you?
A. Capricorn.
8) Any Tattoos and/or Piercings? Explain where.
A. Double-pierced ears.
9) Worst Habit?
A. Backseat driving.
10) If you saw me walking down the street, would you offer me a ride?
A. Only if I recognized you. If I did, then absolutely! You're my Pi!
11) What is your favorite sport?
A. To watch or to participate in? I like watching ice skating and gymnastics, and enjoy swimming.
12) Do you have a Negative or Optimistic attitude?
A. Optimistic. Hopelessly.
13) What would you do if you were stuck in an elevator with me?
A. Talk about geeky stuff.
14) Worst thing to ever happen to you?
A. Wow, I don't know. I've had a pretty amazing life, and I tend to put all the bad stuff in perspective.
15) Tell me one weird fact about you.
A. anti-heroine and I were discussing this--I like the smell of skunks.
16) Do you have any pets?
A. Two cats (Purrsy and Sabina) and a dog (Katie).

A. YES
18) What was your first impression of me?
A. Um...Honestly? I thought you were just another Askre suck-up. Then I got to know you, and my love knows no bounds!
A. A little scary and kinda repulsive.
20) If you could change one thing about how you look, what would it be?
A. Oh wow. Um, I think I'd like a symmetrical face. I have one eye lower than the other.
21) Would you be my crime partner or my conscience?
A. Both.
22) What color eyes do you have?
A. Brown.
23) Ever been arrested?
A. No.
24) Bottle or can soda?
A. Glass bottle. It's more fun and it tastes better, and you know? I don't really like soda otherwise. Except for root beer.
25) If you won $10,000 today, what would you do with it?
A. Put it in savings and think about it for a few months.
27) What's your favorite place to hang at?
A. Anywhere my friends are!
28) Do you believe in ghosts?
A. I think so. At least, I believe in paranormal activity. Maybe ghosts are really demons. But um, it's a question I don't think about too much because I get alternately fascinated and then spooked and can't sleep at night.
29) Favorite thing to do in your spare time?
A. Hanging with friends or writing (stories OR music).
30) Do you swear a lot?
A. No. I make a conscious effort not to get into the habit.
31) Biggest pet peeve?
A. Bad English, maybe.
32) In one word, how would you describe yourself?
A. Friendly. I really am! I even got an award for it one year. "Most Friendly." I think I come across as being more aloof online than I really am.
33) Do you believe/appreciate romance?
A. Sure.
35) Do you believe in God?
A. Yes.

Would you recommend The Ninja and Their Secret Fighting Art? One of my offline friends did, but I'm hesitant with their judgement of things.

I absolutely recommend the book. Absolutely. Not only is it fascinating and informative, but the guy's just a great writer. He really keeps you engrossed.
And hey, I've friended people just to read their entries before, whether for fic or for great rants or whatever. I don't take it the least bit personally. I think I just don't post on LJ when I'm in a good mood, meaning I don't update here often. Usually when I'm posting here, it means I'm either updating a fic or ranting about something that annoys me. So yeah, I'm extremely friendly. I love meeting new people, making new friends, etc. Very social. I think I'm more private on an online journal because I figure people aren't really that interested, and sometimes it's just more appropriate to keep quiet. Though I don't really whine about it when other people do it. Just one of those standards I have for myself. If you get me on IM, I talk a lot.
