Why do people who have no idea what they're talking about insist on arguing with you?

In short, listen up.  I have a music degree.  Quit arguing with me about music unless your credentials are better than mine, and I know they're not.  I am a composer.

Heheheheh. It's on SS, and it's no one you can rough up safely. And it's not that she's deliberately bugging me, just sounding smug and acting like she knows better than me.

Unfortunately, the world is full of people like that. *hugs* The world does tend to make fools of the ignorant after a while, so your best bet is to feel smug yourself and sit back, because YOU know you're better in this field than they are.
